Charles Peter Treleaven, 90, died peacefully on Wednesday October 5, 2022, in Spring, Texas. Peter is survived by his Son, Chuck and wife,

Chris Treleaven, Daughter and Son- in-Law, Lina and Daren Hardin, along with seven grandchildren, Steven and Liz Treleaven, Brian Treleaven, Katherine and Jaye

Weishuhn and Kristina and Connor King, and three greatgrandchildren, Annabelle Treleaven, Niko Treleaven and Ava Weishuhn.

Peter was an active member of both First Presbyterian Church of Houston, and more recently, John Wesley United Methodist Church in the Champions area. Peter was an Elder and Clerk of the Session in the Presbyterian Church as well as serving as an usher in both churches.

Peter grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and loved visiting his old stomping grounds for both business and pleasure. He enjoyed spending time with his family, introducing them to camping and boating on Lake Somerville and Lake Travis. He mastered sailing as well and chartered sailboats with his family in the British Virgin Islands.

Perhaps his greatest joy was spending time with his family at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado. What started as an annual vacation has been passed to subsequent generations where they have gone for many years and shared many exciting memories.

A Celebration of Life will be held at John Wesley UMC on October 24th, 2022, at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, Memorials can be made to the YMCA of the Rockies or Mo-Ranch Conference Center in Hunt, Texas.
