Heights holds on against Westside

Heights and Westside both celebrated homecoming Friday night at Delmar Stadium.

It was the Bulldogs, though, that celebrated a 45-37 victory over Westside in a District 18-6A game.

“You have to give credit to Westside,” Heights coach Stephen Dixon said. “They always play us tough whether no matter how their season is going.

“We were ready to fight some adversity and overcome the game.

“We kind of hurt ourselves in this game and that’s something that we will correct at practice.”

North Texas commit Jahbari Kuykendall was limited in action due to an injury for the Wolves.
