1 killed, 2 injured after being shot outside business

A man died and two other men were injured Friday night after being shot standing outside a store in west Houston, police said.

A car pulled up in a neighboring parking lot near the store on Fondren and Bissonnet and opened fire on the three men, Houston police Cmdr. Larry Baimbridge said at a staging area after the shooting.

All three men were shot, according to Baimbridge. One of them died, one remains in critical condition and the other is stable.

Police haven't identified any victims or suspects, but investigators did watch the store's surveillance video and described a dark-colored sedan as the possible suspect vehicle.
