Anna Jean Foreman, 99, of Houston, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, with children and grandchild­ren by her side.

Ann was born to Roy Penn Blackburn and Visa Rubena Magruder, March 20, 1923, in Shelbina, Missouri. She graduated from Shelbina High School in 1941 and received a degree from the Quincy Business College in 1944. She married James (Jim) Ray Foreman on January 31, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, and started a family. They eventually made it to Houston, Texas where they lived together until Jim’s passing in 1965. Ann lived in Houston for the rest of her life, widowed, and raised their five children who all remain in Houston.

Ann is survived by her children; Suzanne Schleicher (Hart); Sara Jennings; Kim Franks (Ira); Jim Foreman (Michele); Dan Foreman (Mike Svat), 12 grandchild­ren, and 15 great-grandchild­ren.

A Celebratio­n of Life and Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St. Michaels Catholic Church, 1801 Sage Rd., Houston, Texas. Immediatel­y following the ceremony, a reception will be held in the Family Life Center.

In lieu of customary remembranc­es, the family requests donations, if desired, be made in Ann’s memory to a charity of your choice.
