Katy clinches 19-6A title

When Katy had its week off, it interrupted a three-game stretch during which the Tigers outscored their opponents 183-24.

The team picked up right where it left off offensively, scoring on all five first-half possessions and rolling to a 56-28 win over Cinco Ranch in District 19-6A action.

The No. 5 state-ranked Tigers (8-0, 6-0) clinched at least a share of the district title with the triumph.
