TERRY PALIWODA

01/31/1953 - 10/21/2022

Terry passed in peace on Friday October 21, 2022 at the age of 69. Born January 31st, 1953 in Leesville, Louisiana to Robert and Johnnie Lavada Paliwoda. He is preceded in death by his mother and father and step-father William Koenck. He is survived by his partner of nineteen years Karla Bea Tansey; siblings Michael Van Paliwoda, Tonya McKee and Edwin Koenck; children Kristen, Bridget and Charlotte and step-daughter Victoria Lynn Tansey; grandchild Josephine Denine Jasper.

He attended Northwestern State University of Louisiana majoring in the seven fine arts. He moved to Texas with his brother, Michael in 1972, where he later ran a private construction business for over thirty years. As an avid amateur archaeologist he traveled to Belize and Guatemala as well as throughout Texas and Louisiana. He was most proud of his family, friends and the community he served.

A memorial service will be held on November 20th, 2022 at 2 PM at Lott Hall 6201 Hermann Park Drive Houston, Texas 77030. The family extends an invitation to all that wish to remember Terry well.
