HISD, U.S. test scores plummet
Students in Houston and across the nation showed “appalling” declines on the 2022 Nation’s Report Card, adding to mounting evidence that the pandemic impacted young people already facing academic and mental health challenges. Nationally, math scores showed their steepest decline in the history of the so-called nation’s report card.
