Isreal Columbus Lacy Jr “Bunny” died on 10-27-22 at Houston VA Hospital.

He was born on 01-11-28 to Isreal and Susie Lacy in Brenham, Texas. He enlisted in February 1953 into the US Army where he obtained the rank of Sargent before his honorable discharge. After his service, he began selling watermelons and other produce in 1962 in Houston’s Sunnyside area. He continued to sell watermelons for over 60 years where he had numerous friends and customers who came to know and love him.

Memorial Services will be held at Lewis Funeral Home, 509 South Baylor St, Brenham, Tx 77833, Sat, 11- 5-22 at 11:00 am.
