It’s been one year since the Lord decided to have you in Heaven. One full year full of sadness and sorrow. One full year of emptiness in my life that nothing will fill. Doris, you were many things to many people, but for me, you were the other half of me in every way I can describe it. You made me complete and for 50 years I was blessed with your companionship. You were the best example of strength, courage and tenacity, kindness and love. You lived the values of charity, patience, humility and perseverance. The Lord giveth and The Lord taketh away, blessed be The Lord’s name.
