Katy dominates, stays undefeated
Katy continued to dominate in the area playoffs, building a quick threescore lead and cruising for a 62-21 victory against Memorial on Friday at Tully Stadium.
One week after a 59-0 victory against Clements in their playoff opener, the Tigers led 41-14 at halftime and pushed their record to 12-0.
Katy topped 50 points
for the seventh time in eight games, amassing 549 rushing yards and scoring on six of its first seven drives.
“Our main goal is always a mentality of physicality, is what we call it,” offensive lineman Jacob Egg said. “We want to knock people off the ball, drive them back and de-cleat them.”
