Grand Living at Riverstone in Sugar Land will present a concert with Calvin Jones, an internatio­nal recording artist and film score composer, on December 8 at 3 p.m. in their Forum Theatre.

He is an American musician, record producer, composer, songwriter, and pianist.

Jones is originally from central South Dakota before residing in Kyiv, Ukraine, with his family.

He will share his family’s exodus experience and perform his special, After the Conquest, which is dedicated to the Heroes of Ukraine.

Jones’ music incorporat­es classical and popular themes.

His most notable projects include writing the soundtrack for the second-highest grossing documentar­y film of all time produced by Gerald Molen (Schindler’s List, Jurassic Park).

He also composed “Whitewater Chopped Sticks” which became popular with talent shows, recitals and pageants.

A mix of solo piano tracks and music from his symphony will close out his grand

performanc­e.
