SCOTT FINKLE

10/24/1953 - 11/18/2022

-

Scott was born in Omaha, NE, on October 24, 1953, to Maynard and Barbara Finkle, and passed away peacefully with his wife and son at his side on November 18, 2022.

As the oldest of 5 boys, he combined his love of music and electronics to build Business Sound & Communications in Houston, TX, and was highly respected in the field of drive-thru communications.

A prankster and storyteller at heart, Scott relished an outlandish escapade and enjoyed sharing his tales. He was quick to smile and never missed an opportunity to help others and share his vast knowledge. Scott traveled the globe and colored his life with the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss for grownups.

Scott leaves behind his wife of 28 years Karen and son Austin whom he was immensely proud of. He is also survived by his mother Barbara, brothers: David, Terry and Todd, their spouses and families.

Scott was preceded in death by his father Maynard and brother Brad.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to friends, family and Scott’s Hospice Care Team for their love, laugher and support over these past months.

In lieu of flowers, please share your generosity with the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF.org) in his name.

The family will hold a celebration of Scott’s life at a later date.
