On Friday, November 18, 2022, William (Bill) Donald Bachman Jr., loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away at age eighty. Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, he was the son of William and Pearl Bachman and the brother to Gary and George Bachman. Bill graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in chemical engineering and retired as Vice President of Manufacturing at BP Solvay to spend time with family, play golf, work on his farm, and volunteer at the Boys and Girls Harbor. In his earlier years, Bill married Pam Bachman and started a family, Merideth and Matthew Bachman. Pam preceded Bill in death in 2011.

In the hardest and happiest moments of his life, Bill always shared his resilience, emotional intelligence, and empathy towards others.

His battle with cancer only made him stronger and more devoted to taking care of his family, friends, and community. Bill’s final moments were spent surrounded by family where he encouraged his loved ones to work hard, live in the moment, and above all else, be kind to others.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents William and Pearl Bachman and brother Gary. Later in life, Bill married

Judy and merged families. He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Bachman; brother George and his wife Julie Bachman; children Merideth Bachman, Matthew and wife Tammie Bachman; Brenden Herrera, Bailey Herrera, and Blake Herrera; grandchildren Olivia Bachman, Dylan Bachman, Chloe Bachman, and Ruby Herrera.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on November 30th 2022 at 11:00 AM at Kingwood Funeral Home (22800 Highway 59 North, Kingwood, TX 77339).
