Woman is wounded by gunshots through window at her home

A woman is in stable condition after a black pickup drove by her home Friday night and someone riddled it with bullets, striking her twice, police said.

The shooting happened around 8 p.m. near Flintridge and Denton, according to Houston police. Two types of guns were used to shoot up the front of the woman’s home.

The woman was in the living room when she was shot through a window. She was taken to the hospital in serious condition, police said.

Children were also in the home at the time of the shooting, but none were hurt, according to police.

The assailants fled in the truck. Police did not release the make or model of the vehicle or a motive for the shooting.
