She was an enthusiastic supporter of Joe’s Texaco career, always putting a positive spin on moving to a new location and setting up homes around the world, including Lysekil, Sweden and Manorbier, Wales, U.K. eventually settling in Houston in 1985.
Kitty had a quick wit and an almost life long skill at bridge, which she began playing in college, enjoying the game until she died. She was devoted to her Catholic faith and church community. One of her greatest delights was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had an incredible ability to find just the right book or toy for each of their interests.
The family would like to thank and acknowledge Kitty’s excellent medical care for over 30 years by Dr. Shirley Riggs, MD.
A private family memorial service will be held at St Michael Catholic Church, January 10, with interment at Houston National Cemetery at a later date.
