Francis Paul Stack JR, better known as Frank, was born on November 16, 1942, in Florence Alabama. He joined the St. Bernard Prep School at 15 years old where he started his journey to become the man we all know and love. After graduating from St. Bernard, he enlisted in the Navy and served 4 years fighting in the early stages of the Vietnam War. In 1966 he was honorably discharged from the navy and met and then married his one and only love, Carrol. A new husband, he quickly became employed as a field engineer with IBM in the weapons systems unit and did a great deal of traveling and being transferred from state to state. Finally in 1982, IBM transferred him to Houston to work in the IBM space program with NASA. It was then when he was able to put down his roots and raise his family. A driven man, while working full time, he furthered his education attending night classes and earned a bachelor’s degree in business. Frank left IBM after 22 years to work for the Boeing corporation writing employee handbooks. Frank finally left the Aerospace industry to start his own business in 1989. From 1989 to 2017, he and his family were the very proud and successful owners of Pet City, in Houston Texas. Frank retired after 2017 and sold the company to a dedicated employee. After retirement, he enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with the family he loved so much. He also served on the Harris County MUD district #316 as president for 6 years. Frank had a joyous sense of humor and loved getting to know everyone. Although very religious, he wasn’t a member of a church until 2005 when he fell in love with the Cypress Creek Christian Church family in Houston, where he regularly enjoyed Sunday services.

Frank went to his heavenly home on January 1, 2023. He is predeceased by his father, Francis Paul Stack Sr, and his mother, Imogene Ramey.
