She is survived by her daughter Steffani Holubec and husband Jason, daughter Sharron Zachry-Withers, son Woodie Zachry III and wife GiGi, and five grandsons: Aydan, Avery, Cole, Daniel, and Jonas. Fran was a beautiful soul, overflowing with love, and selfless to a fault. Energetic and charming, she had the gift of making friends easily to which she invested lavishly her attention and grace. She made giving of herself appear effortless as a devoted wife of 53 years to Woodie Zachry Jr., a loving mother, and an ever-spoiling grandmother. Fran was an elementary teacher for over three decades. She dedicated herself tirelessly to carrying out Gods purpose for her, building connections to children tailored to their needs, while transforming hearts with her genuine affection and profound skill. Her students would continue to visit her well into adulthood as a testimony of her impact in their lives. In 2002, she was awarded the Crystal Award for outstanding teaching in the Gulf Coast area. After retirement, she gave generously of her time over a decade volunteering at Lord of the Streets Ministries providing meals and fellowship to the homeless of Houston with her husband. She also served Trinity Episcopal Church of the Woodlands in several roles including flower guild, stewardship, children’s Sunday school, vacation bible school, hospitality, Daughters of the King, and numerous others. Fran will be missed immensely, but her impact in our lives will live on. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to
