ASGi recruits vendors to build GHBA Benefit home
After the recent groundbreaking of ASGi Homes’ Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) Benefit home in Williams Reserve East in Conroe, construction has commenced on their 1,932 sq. ft. Olivia Plan. Proceeds from the sale of the home will benefit HomeAid Houston and Operation Finally Home. ASGi is donating construction management, led by Vice President of Construction, Mike Wilson and Purchasing Director, Craig Spriggs.
Each year two homes are built for this GHBA charity fundraiser in prime communities, with donated materials and services. The homes feature amenities that are in demand by today’s home buyers. Even before launching construction, ASGi recruited their loyal vendors, suppliers, and trades to donate over 100 percent of the cost of construction. The homesite was also donated by the community’s developer Ellison Development - part of the ASGi family of companies. Williams Reserve East is a 46home community.
“The ASGi construction team has done an amazing job in recruiting vendors and suppliers,” said Scott Merovitch, Benefit Homes Chair.
“Solidifying their list of companies who are onboard to donate, even before construction begins, is a testament to the loyal partnerships they have developed.”
Companies donating to construction include: A-1 Wright, Adam Olson Team, AES Septic, Aztec Glass & Mirror, Inc., Cabinet Solutions of Texas, Ciro Cuellar Trucking, Coburn Supply Company Inc., CopperWeld, Corey Roofing, Crimson Irrigation, Data Smart, Excell Foundations, F & T Construction, Factory Builders
(GE Appliances), French Inspections, Galvan Clean Up Services and HardCo Pests.
“When I started ASGi Homes, I had a vision to build truly affordable housing for the workingclass people,” said Bill Ellison, founder and president of ASGi
Homes. “We are delivering on quality, time, and offering homeownership. It is inspiring to be able to deliver an affordable home to people who deserve it.”
ASGi’s Olivia floor plan features three bedrooms and two full baths. There is an open-concept common area and a study that could flex to a fourth bedroom. The home will feature tile flooring, granite countertops, 42-inch cabinets with crown molding, a kitchen island, a built-in microwave, a large utility room, stone wainscot, 9-foot ceilings, an 8-foot exterior mahogany door, two exterior coach lights, and a spacious back patio. The home will also include a three-car garage.
