ALBERT BACARISSE III

Our loving father left this world at 9:10 AM on November 11 in the Fort Worth home of his daughter, Judy. Graveside service will be at Rosewood Memorial Park in Humble, Saturday, December 2, at 11 AM. Our family appreciates the love and attention of the Rex and Mary Brown Family, lifelong friends to Albert and Bettie.

Born on December 7, 1931, in Houston, Texas to Albert and Jeanette Bacarisse. I was fortunate because they were good parents. I can’t leave without thanking my grandfather, Albert L. Bacarisse,

Sr. He was a great positive influence on my life.

I liked to tell new acquaintances that I met my wife, Bettie Proctor, while we were in Show Business together. She sold tickets and I popped popcorn at the Garden Oaks Theater in Houston. Our life together began when we married on December 16, 1949. It was a good 70 years. Our family grew with the birth of our son Louis in 1955 and daughter Judy in 1957. We were blessed with seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

On Christmas Evening, 2019, I lost my precious wife, Bettie, only a few days after our 70th anniversary. What a hole that was left in my remaining time.

I leave the world with my loving grandchildren who are destined to change this world: Nick, Sam, Bonnie, Bailey, Betsy, Chris, and Rachel and their families. You all, along with my son Louis and his wife Holly, daughter Judy and her husband Tobe, have been a shining light in my life. My love and thanks to you all. May we all meet again.
