Christmas at the Amish Bakery

After leaving her Amish community in her youth, New York book editor Sarah (Alexandra Harris) finds herself in desperate need of a new cookbook to save her job. With Christmas on the horizon, Sarah heads back to her family farm to reconnect, and there she meets a handsome local (Sean Koetting) — an outsider, but one who is friendly with the Amish community. He and Sarah sense a chemistry and work together to save her family’s Amish bakery, developing an Amish Christmas cookbook in the process.

This inspiring, character-driven coming-ofage series is based on the 2018 Sundance Film Festival favorite and SXSW Award-winning documentar­y Science Fair. It showcases students working to solve the world’s most complex and pressing issues using science while competing for a coveted spot at the Internatio­nal Science and Engineerin­g Fair (ISEF), the most competitiv­e science fair on the planet. The series follows not only the competing students but also the families and teachers — including Science Fair fan-favorite Dr. Serena McCalla — who support and push them along the way. All three episodes air tonight.

Yes, Chef! Christmas Original Film

Lifetime, 7 p.m. 

The Cake Boss, Buddy Valastro, shows up in this original alongside Tia Mowry, who stars as a culinary school instructor who has put both her career aspiration­s and personal life on hold until she is invited to compete in the city’s annual Kringle Cook Off. A family secret could be the big break she needs to become a respected chef like her former boss Bobby (Valastro), but will she be accepted by her new mentor (Luke Humphrey) if she shares the truth?

A Grammy Salute to 50 Years of Hip-Hop CBS, 7:30 p.m.

The yearlong 50th anniversar­y celebratio­n of America’s most popular music genre winds down with this star-studded concert special recorded last month at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles. The event showcases hip-hop’s monumental cultural impact and brings together influentia­l artists from the past and present, including an onstage reunion of DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince (Will Smith).
