RANDY LEE SUTLIFF

03/29/1971 - 03/07/2024

-

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Randy Lee Sutliff on March 7, 2024. We lost one of the good ones far too soon.

Randy was a graduate of Hadley-Luzerne Central School (NY) and went on to pursue his passion in computer science and mechanics at SUNY Adirondack and Hudson Valley Community College. Over his career, he was a manager and construction superintendent for International Paper, Target and One Source Facility Management. He had an outstanding work ethic.

On June 22, 1996, Randy married the love of his life, Karen (nee Annon), in Lake George, NY. They eventually made their way to Texas to embrace the next adventure of their lives.

Randy is predeceased by his beloved mother, Susan. He is survived by his loving wife, Karen, stepson, Shane Farmer and wife Jennifer, his cherished grandson, Hudson (TX), his father, Clarence Sutliff (NY), whom he loved and admired, his siblings and their families, Dawn (Sutliff ) and John Thomas (NY), Lyndon and Deborah Sutliff (NC) and Marilyn Sutliff (NY), who loved their brother deeply. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His sweet, mutant fur-baby, Sluggo, misses him profoundly.

Randy was well-known for his passion for music, rafting in the Adirondacks, love for his dogs, professional and personal projects large and small, and helping anyone in need. Randy (Harv, Cat, Randy-Bear, Big Daddy, Smoochie - the last one for Karen only, of course) and his booming laugh will be profoundly missed, but his memory will continue to bring warmth and joy to the people who loved him and all who knew him.

Please join our Celebrate Randy gathering on Saturday, April 27 at 2:00 pm at Backwoods Saloon to share memories, pictures and good times. 230 Lexington Court, Bldg. A, Conroe, TX 77385, phone (936) 273-0203. Email Lisa at wyndiz27@gmail.com with any questions. An additional Celebration of Life will be held in Lake Luzerne, NY in May.

Please consider making a donation in Randy’s honor to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject. org.
