Globetrotters bring summer clinic to Katy

Katy’s 24-Hour Fitness will host basketball clinics with the Harlem Globetrotters from 8:3011:30 a.m. and 2-5 p.m. on June 15.

The summer skills clinic is offered as part of a partnership between the team and the fitness club to promote youth fitness through a series of 40 clinics taking place in 24 Hour Fitness clubs across nine states over a 10-week period. Designed for children 6 to 14 years old, attendees will practice basketball skills and tricks with the Globetrotters while learning the importance of leading an active lifestyle and maintaining a healthy diet.

Participants in the program will receive a voucher for a complimentary ticket to a 2013 Harlem Globetrotters World
