William was born on August 20, 1959 in Houston, TX to Thomas and Sylvia Rabson. He attended St. John’s High School in Houston and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Geology from Rice University in 1982. He later received an Executive MBA, also from Rice University.

William’s career began with Western Geophysical and continued over the next 30 years to include Western Atlas in London, Baker Hughes in Houston, Powertrade Corp, GX Technology, and ended at Dynamic Group in Houston, where he served as the President, CEO, and Co-Founder.

During the course of his lifetime, both in his career and his personal life, William touched the souls of many people. He was a man who knew no strangers and made it a habit to always try to contribute something positive to every relationship he had. William was an indomitable force in everything he did, including his 15 month battle with esophagael cancer. He beat all the odds along the journey and never gave up, even in his last days.

William was loved by many and will be deeply missed. We pray that God will be glorified both through William’s life and through his death, and that all those who knew him take peace in knowing he is no longer suffering and rests now in Heaven.

Services to honor William’s life will be conducted by Klein Funeral Home of Tomball, TX and held at St. Luke’s Methodist Church in Houston, TX at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2015. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. William requested cremation as his final disposition, and the family will have a private burial.

The family would especially like to thank William’s colleagues, friends and associates who supported him and showered him with love and kindness during this difficult journey, our family at Dynamic Group, the tireless team of professionals and doctors at A-Med Hospice and M.D. Anderson, and a very special thank you to Anna Belcheva, M.D., her staff, and the Infusion Center team at Methodist Willowbrook Hospital who never gave up on William, and helped make every day of his battle count.
