The following arrests were made in South Montgomery County:

Deadly conduct: Around 5 a.m. Sunday, Montgomery County Sheriff ’s Office deputies arrived at a home in the 20 block of Courtland Green in The Woodlands.

The homeowners said they had discovered several bullet holes in their upstairs bathroom wall and that the shots appeared to have come from a neighbor’s residence. Upon investigat­ion, deputies determined that 51-year-old Deborah Ward had fired 16 shots through her bedroom wall toward the neighbor’s residence. Ward was arrested and charged with deadly conduct.

Burglars nabbed: Around 11 p.m. Saturday, deputies were sent to investigat­e several home burglaries in the Legends Run subdivisio­n in Spring, where suspects were entering homes by kicking in the back doors. One homeowner reported that minimal property was taken from their home when the suspects were scared off. Multiple patrol vehicles began to converge on the area and two suspects were located in the area. An investigat­ion led back to a separate residence, where several items that had been taken in the burglaries that evening were recovered.

After the initial investigat­ion, 21-year-old William Ashton-Dean Wilson and 19-year-old Kayne Tyrael Boles were arrested and charged with two counts of burglary of a habitation, one count of attempted burglary of a habitation, and separate drug charges. Both suspects were found to be in possession of narcotics. Jarvis Devon Vault, 20, who was in the residence where the stolen items were located, was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.

The case is still under investigat­ion.

The Montgomery County Sheriff ’s Office District 6, The Woodlands, reported the following incidents:

Drug bust: On May 6, a deputy stopped a vehicle on the Interstate 45 North feeder road. During the traffic stop, the 26-yearold male driver was found to have marijuana and drug parapherna­lia in his vehicle. The suspect was charged with possession of marijuana and transporte­d to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

DWI and pot bust: On May 7, a deputy pulled over a vehicle along Woodlands Parkway. In talking with the 55-year-old male driver, the deputy noticed he had glassy, blood-shot eyes, and could smell alcohol on his breath. After an investigat­ion, the suspect was taken into custody for driving while intoxicate­d. Charges were also filed for possession of marijuana when the deputy found a bowl in the backseat with marijuana. The suspect was transporte­d without incident to the Montgomery County Jail.

Store theft: On May 7, a deputy was dispatched to 3040 College Park Drive to investigat­e a theft. Store security officers had noticed an employee who was acting suspicious­ly. The employee loaded a cart, paid for some items and then left the store without paying for the remaining items. The deputy also found that the suspect, an 18-year-old female, had created fraudulent returns onto gift cards to make the purchase. The total value of the merchandis­e and gift cards was valued at $531.71. The suspect was taken into custody, charged with theft, and transporte­d to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

Grocery store theft: On May 7, a deputy was dispatched to 9595 Six Pines Drive to investigat­e a theft. A 47-year-old female suspect had attempted to take $88.48 worth of merchandis­e from H-E-B. The suspect was taken into custody for theft and transporte­d to the Montgomery County Jail without incident.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 2, South County, reported the following incidents:

DWI arrest: On May 2, a deputy was dispatched near the 300 block of Sawdust Road in The Woodlands to assist another officer. A 34-year-old male was arrested for public intoxicati­on.

Assault arrest: On May 5, a deputy was dispatched near the 3000 block of Legends Wild Drive on an assault call. A 52-year-old male was arrested for assault.

Warrant arrest: On May 5, a deputy came in contact with a Harris County officer near the intersecti­on of Interstate 45 and Rayford Road, in Spring, who had confirmed a local warrant. A 44-year-old male was arrested on the warrant.

Criminal trespass: On May 5, a deputy was dispatched near the 500 block of Anacancho Drive, in Spring, on a criminal trespass call. A 26-yearold male was arrested for criminal trespass.

Warrant arrest: On May 5, a deputy stopped a vehicle after the driver failed to dim their high beams at Interstate 45 and Rayford Road in Spring. A 23-year-old male was arrested for two active warrants.

Warrant arrest: On May 6, two deputies were near Buffalo Canyon Drive and Standing Rock in Spring, where they found a vehicle stopped. A 28-year-old male was arrested for an active misdemeano­r warrant

Drug bust: On May 6, a deputy was dispatched near the 6000 block of FM 1488, in Magnolia. A 25-year-old male was arrested for fraudulent use of identifica­tion and possession of cocaine.
