Local legends perform Beach Boys tribute
The Coastliners will perform a Beach Boys tribute show featuring Elvis at 10 p.m. on May 21 at Masones Saloon. Tickets start at $10.
The Coastliners started in Baytown 40 years ago, and their five-part harmonies frequently had critics associating them with The Beach Boys.
But that was just one of the acts they had the opportunity to perform with back in rock’s golden era, The Coastliners also performed along with Roy Orbison, Neil Diamond, The Righteous Brothers and The Byrds.
They recorded six top ten hits from 1964 to 1968.
