Coventry and Plantation Homes offer “Beat the Heat” promotion
Coventry Homes and Plantation Homes are offering a cool promotion that brings the thermostat down on electricity payments for two years.
Through the “Beat the Heat” sales event, Coventry Homes and Plantation Homes — part of McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc. (MHI) — will prepay two years’ worth of electricity bills for people buying a home May 15 through June 30. The Beat the Heat incentive is valid for all of the builders’ Houston-area communities and for buyers in Coventry Homes’ Build On Your Lot program.
James Miller, MHI region president, says the “Beat the Heat” promotion is one of the company’s most popular.
“We consider this one sizzling promotion,” said James Miller, MHI region president. “And buyers will continue to see energy savings even beyond the twoyear promotional period as all of our homes in Houston are built ‘EcoSmart’ and meet the platinum level standards of the Environments for Living program.”
Coventry Homes and Plantation Homes both have new premium homesites available in Firethorne, a Katy development near the Interstate-10 West corridor, the Westpark Tollway and the Grand Parkway. Plantation Homes builds from the $260,000s in the neighborhood, and Coventry Homes has designs priced from the $390,000s.
Coventry Homes builds in two other Katy communities, Avalon at Spring Green and the new Cane Island. Coventry Homes just opened a sales center in Cane Island, a 1,000-acre development that boasts a naturally wooded setting and planned amenity center with pools, a fitness center, outdoor café, splash pad and multi-level treehouses overlooking an amphitheater stage. Coventry Homes offers designs for 55-foot, 65-foot and 70-foot homesites in Cane Island, with pricing from the $350,000s.
Coventry Homes has lakefront homesites in Avalon at Spring Green, a gated development that offers quick access to Interstate 10. The community is served by acclaimed schools in the Katy Independent School District. Coventry Homes has designs for 75-foot and 85-foot properties and prices from the $440,000s.
