Man, 20, dies after tree crash

A 20-year-old man died late Saturday after he crashed the red Ford Mustang that his father bought for him just two weeks ago.

Around 10 p.m., the driver lost control of the car making a slight turn on Ward Road at Strickland in Baytown.

After going over the curb and striking a tree, the car split in half at the firewall. The driver died at the scene.
