Club invites public to events

The Club at Falcon Point will participat­e in the 2015 ClubCorp Charity Classic from July 10-12, and the public is invited to participat­e in a weekend of events.

On July 10, a Tennis ProAm will be held at a cost of $35 per player. Registrati­on begins at 6 p.m., and doubles matches start at 6:30 p.m.

Red, White and Boots, an evening of dinner, dancing and a silent auction, will be July 11. Tickets are $100 per person. A golf tournament will be held July 12 at the club. The cost is $100 per player and includes greens fees, unlimited range balls, closest-tothe-pin contest, a $10,000 cash split hole-in-one contest, two drink tickets and an awards dinner afterwards. Each player will also receive a certificat­e for use at all ClubCorpTe­xas courses valued at $3,000.

The 2015 ClubCorp Charity Classic will benefit the following nonprofits: Augie’s Quest, an aggressive fundraisin­g effort focused on finding treatments and cures for ALS by supporting the work of the ALS Therapy Developmen­t Institute; ClubCorp’s Employee Partners Care Foundation, a fund created to help ClubCorp’s employees and their families by providing financial assistance in times of crisis; and HomeAid Houston, an organizati­on that helps build new lives for homeless families and individual­s through housing and community outreach.
