Harold Edward Conway Sr., 88, of Sugar Land Texas, passed away peacefully on the 4th of July 2015. He was born on July 7, 1926 to John James and Jean Veronica Conway in Astoria, New York. He had been married 64 years to his loving wife Ramona.

Harold served in the Navy during WWII, graduated from Lehigh University where he met and fell in love with Ramona who graduated from Moravian College. They were happily married in 1951. Upon his completion of college, Harold joined his father’s Chrysler automobile dealership, Conway Motors Inc., establishe­d in 1931. He continued to expand the agency along with his three sons for 64 years.

Harold was an avid golfer for more than 60 years with membership­s at the Garden City Country Club, New York where he was elected president in the early 1970’s, the PGA National Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and Sweetwater Country Club, Sugar Land, Texas.

Harold was preceded in death by his father John, mother Jean, brothers John and Robert, sister Jane and son Peter. He is survived by his wife Ramona, sons Harold and wife Patricia, Robert, Michael and wife Mary, Tom and wife Loriann and daughter Betsy and husband Ron Heathcock; grandchild­ren Kelly & husband Eduardo Reash, Brian, Sean, Christine & husband William Madden, Theresa, Michele, Michael, Thomas Heathcock, and James; great grandchild­ren Conor Reash and Billy Madden.

A Mass celebratin­g his life will be held on July 20, 2015 at 2:00 pm at St. Laurence Catholic Church, 3100 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, Texas. A reception for family and friends will be held at the Marriott Town Center, Sugar Land, Texas.
