The 13th annual Fall Home and Garden Show is 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 22 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Aug. 23 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott. The event features more than 190 exhibitors, local home and garden expert speakers and contests and giveaways. Admission is $9 for adults and children under 12 are free.

“Food is always one of the more popular subjects at the shows,” said Tony Wood, president of Texwood Shows Inc., producer of the spring and fall home and garden shows in The Woodlands. “And the lineup for the fall show provides plenty of opportunities for foodies and home chefs to learn, taste and enjoy.”

Food and dining experts will speak and demonstrate the craft on an outdoor cooking stage during the event. Participating on the Cunningham Gas Products sponsored stage are Executive Chef Brian McNamara, from Del Frisco’s Grile; Executive Chef Clarence Alexander, from Kirby’s Prime Steakhouse and Chef and culinary instructor Lawrence Fogarty, from Main Course Cooking School and Main Restaurant in MainStreet America.

Other attractions during the show include a craft beer and wine tasting, a feature landscape exhibit from Stewart Land Design and showcases featuring MIB Remodeling’s use of Kohler and Delta products and Wilsonart’s new quartz countertops.

Organic gardening, home color design, professional organizing and home lighting are other interests that guest speakers and vendors will focus on.
