Judith (Judy) Ann Allen, of Houston, TX was called Home to her Heavenly Father on August 19th, 2015.

Daughter to David A and Janis Fleming Jr, Judy was born in St. Louis, Missouri but raised in Southern California. Judy is well remembered for her volunteer work and compassion towards less fortunate families, battered women and the homeless. Her faith in God, her love for her husband, family, children and grandchild­ren was ever present and evident in her words and actions. She loved unconditio­nally and without reservatio­n. Judy also cherished her Second Baptist church family dearly where she served as a marriage counselor, Bible study leader and prayer volunteer.

She is survived and cherished by her husband of 47 years, Alexander S. Allen VIII, her father David A Fleming Jr., mother-in-law Doris M. Allen, aunt Mary and Wade Dickens, sister-in-law Connie and Nick Ventimigli­a, sisters Linda and Harry Prodromide­s, Mary Ahearn, Debra and Al Moerke, her brother David and Amy Fleming, siblings Kim and Kento Gibson, Shelly and Reese Schriver, Bob and Sue Webster, Skip Webster, Donna Jean Sarnowski, daughters Jennifer Allen and Mary Allen, son Alexander and Danielle Allen, and four grandchild­ren Alec, Aly, Aaron and Aric, as well as her many beloved brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
