Event to feature conservative commentator

A fundraising dinner featuring keynote speaker Lt. Col. Allen West will benefit the JROTC Foundation at 7 p.m. on Nov. 8 at The Woodlands Resort and Conference Center. Tickets start at $250.

KTRH radio host Matt Patrick will emcee the event, which raises money for underfunded high school JROTC programs in Houston and across the state. West is a former Republican U.S. representative from Florida who served in the 22nd congressional district from 2011 to 2013, and is a frequent conservative commentator and former member of the Tea Party Caucus.
