Volleyball Playoffs

Dates: First-round matches will be played early next week. The regional tournaments are scheduled for Nov. 13-14.

Local 6A teams: Alvin, Dawson, Manvel, Pearland

Unfinished business: The last few postseasons have been frustrating for Pearland. The Lady Oilers have had high quality teams but fell short of the regional tournament. This year coach John Turner hopes his team has the experience and hunger to get over the hump.
