Historic train depot open again
Tomball’s railroad depot, plaza and gazebo has re-opened to the public after being closed for six months and more plans are underway to bring the city’s railroading heritage to life. The depot, located at 201 S. Elm St. in Tomball, shut down after the death of the volunteer station agent who kept operations running through the years. John Lockwood, above, helped the depot reopen Saturday.
