Zane Williams to perform

Zane Williams will perform at 10:45 p.m. on Oct. 30 at Big Texas Dance Hall & Saloon. Tickets are $8 for adults and $15 for 18-20.

Williams’ career was launched when he entered his song “Hurry Home” in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest which won the $20,000 Maxell Song of the Year award in 2006. That song became a hit for Jason Michael Carroll. Earlier this year, Williams released a new album titled “Texas Like That;” a steady mix of 11 contemporary country songs about tough guys, lost souls and throwbacks.
