GLENNA LEE MccARTHY SATTERFIELD

1932-2015

Born in Houston, Texas on December 31, 1932, and passed away peacefully, with her family by her side, on October 28, 2015, at her home in Heath, Texas. A wonderful mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Glenna found her greatest joy and happiness in her life with her family and friends. She married Adger Satterfierld on February 14th, 1965. Glenna Lee was preceded in death by her mother, Faustine Lee McCarthy, and her father Glenn Herbert McCarthy, sisters Mary Margaret Davis and Faustine Lee Garbrecht, and her son, Neal Parker Satterfield. She is survived by her husband Adger, her sister, Leah McCurry and brother Glenn H. McCarthy, Jr. both of Houston, and her children Glenna Colley (Jesse), George Pontikes Jr (Laura), Paula Colley (Gene), Tommy Satterfield (Becky), Pamela Beck (Henry), Jeanie Kaiser (Rick), Angela Picton (John), Christi Beard (Walter), David Satterfield, 22 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren. Glenna’s life will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 31st, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Rockwall, Texas. Donations please to the Alzheimer’s Association.
