Sandra Jean Rittenhouse, 77, passed away Saturday, October 24, 2015. She was born to T.O. & Travis Windt on October 19, 1938 in Houston, TX.

Sandy’s love as a child was dancing, and horses. She went to Jefferson Davis High School, and 1 year at TLC. Sandy was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, where she met her husband to be, Bill Rittenhouse. Bill & Sandy were married at Zion, August 28, 1959. Her talents were painting, sewing, and cooking, which are still being enjoyed today by friends.

Sandy leaves behind her husband of 56 years, Bill Rittenhouse; her life and love, children, Glenda Dodd (Stan), and Mark Rittenhouse (Carolyn); grandchildren, Meredith, and Max Rittenhouse; along with many friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at Heights Funeral Home from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at Heights Funeral Home the following afternoon at 12 PM. Interment will follow at Rosewood Cemetery, Humble, TX.
