Calcasieu Lake — HR&G reported limits of trout under birds. Solid catches of flounder have come off marsh points and drains with the falling tide.

Galveston — Birds have worked throughout the bay. Freshwater coming down the Trinity River should push fish to the lower end of the bay.

Matagorda — Guide Charlie Paradoski reported limits of trout and redfish while working deep shell. Guide Mark Talasek reported limits of trout on Bass Assassins.

Lake Livingston — Guide Simon Cosper reported limits of blue cats to 10 pounds on cut shad while drifting over flats in 5-10 feet of water. Crappie are good around brushpiles in 10-15 feet of water on blue/white tube jigs.
