A SHOW OF ‘FORCES’:
Move over, X-cyclists and skateboarders. No bodies knock around space quite like the daredevils of Streb Extreme Action Company. Elizabeth Streb’s troupe of hardcore dancers springs into town with “Forces,” a show whose physical challenges include falling bowling balls, a 25-square-foot wall and a “whirling gizmo” that ejects performers into the air. It’s a little bit boxing, a little bit rodeo, a little bit circus and a lot of precise stunt work from a company known to thrill.
