Dress silly, help serious cause

St. Peter’s United Methodist Church is asking everyone to show up in costume for its Great Pumpkin Run on Oct. 31. Prizes will be awarded to the best dressed. Check-in is at 7 a.m., and the race begins at 8 a.m. Student Ministries is sponsoring this 5K fun run/walk to raise funds to help free those enslaved in the Sudan with the help of Christian Solidarity International. Registration is $25, and donations are also accepted.
