Elmer D. (Skip) Cook passed away on October 26, 2015 in The Woodlands, Texas. He was born March 2, 1949 in Washington DC.

Skip graduated Spring Branch High School in 1967. He obtained a Journalism degree from UT in 1971 and worked for Pumps of Houston, Inc. as Co-Owner and CEO.

Skip is survived by his wife of 45 years, Darlene, sons Brett, Sean and his wife Tara, daughter Tiffany and her husband Josh, Grandchild­ren Haley, Nolan and Caylee, Mother, Brother, Sister In Law, two Sisters and Brother In Laws, four nieces and nine nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 from 6 – 8pm, with Vigil Service at 7 at Klein Forest Funeral Home 16131 Champions Forest Dr., Spring, Texas. The funeral service will be held at 10:30 on Friday, October 30, 2015 at Prince of Peace in the Mary Chapel 19222 State Highway 249, Houston, Texas with burial to follow at Earthman Resthaven Cemetery 13102 North Freeway, Houston, Texas.
