Lyn Hall Levens

Lyn Hall Levens, a native Houstonian, died this Sunday October 25, 2015. The oldest of four children, he worked his way through college and graduated with a Biochemica­l degree from Sam Houston State University in 1970.

He started his own company, Fort Bend Services Inc. in 1974. In 1983, he became the President and CEO. He designed water systems in over 32 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Japan, and Africa. Lyn was supportive in his community and loved his civil services. For many years he participat­ed and supported the Fort Bend County Fair. Lyn was an avid sportsman, including hunting and fishing. He was also well known in the Greater Houston Chapter of the Model ‘A’ Restorers Club. He was a wonderful father to his two children and a devoted grandfathe­r to his two granddaugh­ters.

Lyn Levens is preseeded in death by Maxine Levens, Wilford Levens, and Linda Levens. He is survived by his two brothers Larry and Mary Levens, Lance Levens, wife Rosemary Levens, children Lanasa Moyer and Layne Levens, and two grandchild­ren Melanie Moyer and Heather Calk.

Visitation will be held at 1pm Friday October 30, 2015 at Pat H. Foley Funeral Home, 1200 34th St. Houston TX 77018.
