Jose David Beltran

With his beloved wife, Cecilia, their two sons, John David and Jordi, family members and close friends by his side, Jose David Beltran went with the Lord on November 15, 2015 after a brave fight with cancer.

Jose David was born in Spain to Rev. José Beltran and Manolita Llopis de Beltran, on March 12, 1951 and grew up in the Canary Islands. In 1967 the Beltran family moved to the United States. Jose David attended Baylor University and graduated with a double degree in Architectu­re and Engineerin­g from the University of Texas in Austin.

His career in the energy industry had his family living in numerous countries and cities in the USA. Throughout his career, he worked and gained experience with Brown & Root, Bechtel, Chevron, Reficar de Colombia, CB&I, and Anadarko, where many friends and colleagues will remember him.

He is survived by his wife and their two sons, sisters Nike Luqman and Lydia Maier and family of Houston, and brother John Paul Beltran and family of Montecito, California. He leaves his beloved Colombian family and many friends around the world.

A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 20th, at the Chapel of the Grace Presbyteri­an Church, 10221 Ella Lee Lane - Houston, TX 77042.

In lieu on flowers, the family has requested that a donation be made in his name to the charity of your choice.
