Lehlia “Lee” Froehlich Kettler, 85, of Cypress, TX, went to her heavenly home on February 14, 2016. Lee was born March 1, 1930, in Cypress, TX. She was a lifelong Lutheran and a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Cypress. Lee worked in Houston as a bookkeeper, secretary, and clerk prior to retiring. She looked forward to daily visits and phone calls from her grandkids Shawnda, Matt, and Carmen who lovingly called her “Gaga”. She loved spending time teaching her grandchild­ren about cooking, gardening, and life. She was always there to offer a shoulder to lean on and give advice. She especially enjoyed visiting with her dear niece Beth who always brought a smile to her face. She cherished spending time with her longtime friends Estelle and Alma.

Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Kettler, in 2009; brother, Victor Froehlich and wife Lois; and parents, Benjamin and Meta Froehlich. She is survived by her daughter, Joanie Maglitto and husband Sam; son, Steve Kettler and wife Jaynette; grandchild­ren, Shawnda Maglitto, Matthew Maglitto and wife Carmen, Clint Kettler and wife Megan, and Cody Kettler; her doggies, Chica and Lucy; as well as many loved ones.

Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, at Klein Funeral Home, Tomball. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at St. John Lutheran Church in Cypress, TX. Burial will follow in St. John Lutheran Cemetery.

For those who desire, memorials may be directed to St. John Lutheran Cemetery Associatio­n or Cypress Top Historical Society.
