Look for new life on the prairie

The Katy Prairie Conservancy will host “Unplugged Adventure: Promise of Spring” onFeb. 27 from 10-11:30 a.m. at the Indiangrass Preserve.

Spring is the perfect time to learn how to prepare the yard for a productive, green season. Participants will take a fun hike looking for signs of spring, do a take-home activity in the Native Seed Nursery and talk about howto prepare the yard for wildlife neighbors. Cost is $5. This event is for all ages. It requires advance registration on katyprairie.org by clicking the “Visit” tab to find “Events.”
