Songwriting duo sets concert

Ed Jurdi and Gordy Quist — members of the Austin group Band of Heathens — will perform a duo show at Main Street Crossing at 8 p.m. on Feb. 23. Tickets start at $35.

Jurdi and Quist are the two original members and main songwriters of the hard-rocking Southern jam band with Americana tendencies, and both have released solo albums. Their latest effort together as a band is 2013’s “Sun- day Morning Record,” written and recorded following a period of change within the band.
