Mardi Gras on Main Street
The Mambo Jazz Kings will be among the entertainment at Mardi Gras on Main Street, a familyfriendly street festival in La Porte. Houston Tea Festival
Explore the culture of the world’s most popular beverage at the Houston Tea Festival, to be held on the University of Houston Clear Lake campus. The two-day event will include tastings, workshops, live entertainment, children’s activities and a marketplace. Heritage Family Day
Longhorns, chuck wagons, music and crafts will bring cowboy culture alive during Heritage Family Day at the Heritage Society Museum. Visitors can learn about the importance of the vaquero to Texas cattle ranching by visiting the new exhibit, “Vaquero: Genesis of the Texas Cowboy.” Also, the Old Place, an 1823 log cabin adjacent Sam Houston Park, will be open for tours. Houston Repticon
