Woodforest trolley tour promises easy home visits
The road to a new home starts with a hop onboard a picturesque trolley in best-selling Woodforest.
The South Montgomery County community, among the nation’s 20 topselling developments, is hosting a hop-on, hop-off trolley tour of its newest model homes from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 23. Passengers can board the trolley at the Woodforest Homefinder Lodge, 101 Elk Trace Parkway, for a short trip to the development’s “South District,” where builders have opened a bevy of new models.
“These models are chockfull of trendsetting design ideas and feature the latest advances in architectural design and home construction,” said Virgil Yoakum, general manager of Woodforest. “This is the perfect time to visit, especially if you are considering a new home. We have many homes ready for move-in.”
Visitors also will enjoy different activities and light refreshments during the tour.
Ten of Woodforest’s 30 model homes will be included on the trolley route. The stops include Darling Homes’ fourth community model, a luxurious design in the South District neighborhood of Blanton Bend where the builder offers homes priced from the $450,000s.
Joining Darling Homes in Blanton Bend are Village Builders and Highland Homes. A new Gracepoint Homes model showcases designs priced from the $470,000s in the Sanderling neighborhood, which also features plans by Darling Homes. Coventry Homes has opened a new model home in the Ballantyne neighborhood, where it offers designs priced from the $520,000s. Newmark Homes also builds in Ballantyne.
Four model homes have recently opened in Capriccio, one of the largest new neighborhoods in Woodforest and one of the last areas where buyers can find a new home within Montgomery Independent School District. Perry Homes’ floor plans in the neighborhood are priced from the $310,000s while Chesmar Homes offers designs starting in the $260,000s in Capriccio. Lennar’s pricing also begins in the $260,000s, including floor plans for several multi-generational living designs.
Huntington Homes and Partners in Building both offer designs in Larkhaven. Partners in Building recently started construction of a new model home for the neighborhood, where it offers homes from the $700,000s.
Also included on the tour are models by Highland Homes, Perry Homes and Village Builders in the Deerbourne Ridge neighborhood.
