THE BUCKINGHAM: An 82-year-old resident of The Buckingham, a Houston premier senior living community, is a role model and faithful example of volunteeri­sm. Pat Deckert spends her time and energy reading to patients at Houston Methodist, greeting theatregoe­rs at ADPlayers and preparing meals for children in need. Deckert works tirelessly to touch as many lives as possible in the Houston area, and is an inspiratio­n to residents of The Buckingham. CLAREWOOD HOUSE: It was a beautiful day for Clarewood House residents as they took a Houston Artwork Tour via the county bus. The group saw great artwork pieces, learned about ordinances and had a great time together. The group visited the 60th floor of downtown’s Chase Tower, and Christ Church Cathedral (shown).
