Beaumont ISD staff sentenced in theft, cheating
BEAUMONT — A former Beaumont school district administrator and a former teacher have been sentenced for their guilty pleas related to alleged theft from school programs and cheating on test scores.
Former assistant superintendent Patricia Adams Lambert was sentenced to the maximum three years and four months in prison for theft and conspiracy to submit false statements on standardized test scores. Former teacher Victoria Gauthier Steward received three years of probation for her plea to conspiracy to submit false statements on test scores.
